I had my door lock repaired by Armstrong locksmiths they made a new key for me I was impressed with their skills
Had a weird key for my tool box I couldn’t get cut anywhere so I brought it here and they cut it

We just had Tristin from Armstrong Security install our smartlock. I can’t endorse this tradesman enough; highly skilled, a wonderful congenial attitude and fast, he was in and out before we knew it! We were on holiday in our motorhome from Auckland in Rotorua. Soon after we arrived we were unable to unlock our main habitation door. We tried everything to fix even dismantling the lock on the inside. In desperation we came to Armstrongs Rotorua. They had the problem solved in a jiffy and gave us great advice and even lubricated the lock. A big thank you for such great service and they are so knowledgeable even regarding Motorhome locks.
Highly recommended! Our key broke in our storage box on top of our car, brought our car in and they were able to unlock it so we could get our stuff out, cut another key even though we only had the half broken one and get the piece out that was stuck. Tristan was so helpful, friendly and very efficient. We will definitely be letting our Whanau and friends know this is the place to go!
We were honeymooning in Rotorua in a camper van when we accidentally locked our keys in the van. It was late at night, bitterly cold and we were without any phones or wallets as they were also locked in the van. We found a hotel and called on Armstrong Smarter Security to come and save the day, and save the day they did. Tristan was an absolute legend. Our van proved to be quite the challenge, but Tristan wasn’t one to shy away from a challenge and he refused to be bested by the van. Tristan remained hopefully and optimistic, with an incredibly kind, understanding and friendly nature, he saved our honeymoon and our bodies from a cold sleep on the street. Despite the challenge our van presented, Tristan held a chipper and positive demeanour throughout, throwing in a bit of humour to keep the mood light and spirits high. Brought the Yale electronic door lock system for our Bookabach with the wifi / bluetooth option to allow us to give access to the house for guests with a code for a specified time they are there. Armstrong managed to cut new keys for my classic first attempt, it had been a drama elsewhere so they know what they are doing. They just need a receptionist so they can focus on the good work
Alison Talbot interested to know if this was Rotorua Airport? If so we have an on call 24/7 locksmith on 24/7 and have received no calls for locked keys in a car at Rotorua Airport. We also have had our shop open on Old Taupo Rd, Rotorua Thursday 27 - Friday 28 / Monday 31 & yesterday and today.
